Korean Language

Bangladeshi citizens need to develop proficiency in the languages which have been growing increasingly important for the global job market and trades. It has been observed that there are lots of opportunities for jobs and higher study in Korea. Because of the recent technological development South Korean economy is booming and they need to hire overseas workers from the global work market. Korean job market is identified as very much feasible for Bangladeshi manpower. In the mean time, Bangladeshi workers have created a good reputation in Korean job market and Korean employers found very much keen to hire more workers from Bangladesh. But it is a matter of regret that there are very few places in Bangladesh where the job seekers can learn Korean language well. Due to the growing demand, some of the private organizations have been providing Korean Language training, which are not adequate and effective for developing skills in communicative Korean language. As the global job market is very much competitive, we need to sustain the job market of Korea for the sake of the economic development of Bangladesh. Now, it is mandatory for all the overseas job seekers into the Korean job market to pass the Korean Language Proficiency Test (EPS-KLT).

The government of Bangladesh has taken initiative for providing Korean language training to the job seekers through FLTC-II Project. This language training will bring a positive impact on the foreign remittance flow in Bangladesh. Till now many FLTC trainees went to South Korea on different jobs.
